I worked SO hard to build my business. I followed the strategies, I networked, I hustled, I saw the money coming in.
But something was missing.
Despite running a business I loved, I was still depressed.
Despite making money, I was still in huge amounts of debt (and that’s stressful AF!)
Despite being in Facebook Groups and attending in-person events, I still felt lonely.
Despite making sales and signing clients, I still felt like a total failure.
Above all, I felt like I had no-one to talk to about it.
All of these things (plus SO much more) are the human side of running a business. They are YOU.
And that’s what was missing from my business – ME! I wasn’t showing up authentically, I wasn’t sharing my honest, raw self online. I was so caught up in the strategy that I lost myself.
And that's exactly why I created The Business Sanctuary - a community for business owners to connect and be supported as themselves!
Every time I talk to someone about the human side of running a business – the highs and the lows – they agree with me.
It’s difficult to show up and say “I’m having a shit week” when everyone on social media is KILLING. IT.
It’s difficult to show up and say “OMG! I’m so proud of myself, I made my first sale!” when the post above is someone celebrating a million dollar day.
But that’s exactly what we need to be doing.

I started my online business journey from a place of desperation. It was in the darkest part of my life and I knew that things had to change.
But no matter what I changed in my life – from my job to my location – I was burnt out and depressed.
So I started working on myself. I took every self-development course, healing certification, and coaching course around.
And for the first time ever, I connected with my true self – my wild spirit, and my soul’s purpose.
I started to heal and grow in all areas of my life and business!
